） テレビや雑誌でも多数紹介された、こだわりの高級肥料で栽培したオリジナルの玉ねぎです。
淡路島の南沿岸部を主な圃場（ほじょう）とし、たい肥や有機肥料などを使用することで、甘くなるように育てました。
サラダはもちろん、天ぷらや炒め物にしても柔らかくジューシーな、春が旬の新玉ねぎです。
収穫開始の品種は表面が白っぽいですが、6月中旬にかけてだんだん茶色い品種になっていきます。
茶色い品種になると共に、糖度が増しますが、辛味も増していきます。
