☆新得町は森林の町 新得町は総面積の約9割が森林地帯です。
その中で町有林の面積は約3，500haあります。
カラマツなどの人工林は伐期のものが多く、伐採から植林へといった計画的な施業を実施しています。
また、森林は木材産業としてだけでなく、土砂崩れなどの災害防止や水資源の確保などの自然や生活を守る公的機能も備えています。
このカラマツの植栽では、植栽から伐採までの30年間で約17tの二酸化炭素を吸収することができます。
これは家庭から出る二酸化炭素の約4年分に相当するものであり、環境に配慮したスマートな選択としてご検討ください。
